VR Terms & Waiver
Important:
There are some elements of risk associated with the use of virtual reality and any associated equipment (referred to herein as ‘activity’). Although we have taken responsible steps to provide you with appropriate safety equipment, instructions, and knowledgeable supervisors so you can enjoy an activity for which you may not be skilled, we wish to remind you this activity is not without risk. The elements that contribute to the unique character of the activity can result because of loss to equipment, or physical/emotional injury or damage to yourself, to property, or / to the third party. It is important for you to be informed in advance what to expect of the inherent risks.
Game Fort/ Black Rain Studios excepts no responsibility or Liability of Physical, Emotional, or Mental injury that may occur during and or after a Virtual Reality Session.
SAFETY
Players must be 8 years and over to play.
Children are not to be left unattended on site. Staff members are not responsible for the safety or care of children.
If there is no one to supervise your child, you will be unable to enter the game. You will not receive a credit or refund.
Visitors under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will sign their waiver and stay with them throughout the session.
Visitors under 16 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian, which can be done online or at the location.
The use of VR equipment is prohibited to individuals who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to play. You will not receive a refund or credit. Alcohol is prohibited inside the facility.
Personal belongings
Black Rain Studios and its employees are not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal belongings left unattended.
Medical Conditions
Prolonged use of the virtual reality should be avoided for the children, as this could affect hand-eye coordination, balance, and multi-tasking ability. Adults should monitor children closely during and after use of the VR equipment for any decrease in these abilities.
It is highly recommended to consult a physician before using virtual reality equipment if you are pregnant, elderly, have pre-existing binocular vision abnormalities or psychiatric disorders, or suffer from a heart condition or other serious medical condition.
In order to have pleasant and comfortable VR experience a participant requires an unimpaired sense of motion and balance. Do not VR activities if you are tired, sleepy, are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, are hung-over, have digestive problems, are under emotional stress or anxiety, or when suffering from cold, flu, headaches, migraines, or earaches, as this can increase your susceptibility to adverse symptoms.
You will need to be able to walk around, unassisted for an hour with full use of both hands. People with vision in one eye are able to play.
For safety reasons, anyone with the following impairment/medical conditions are not able to play:
· Deaf or severe hearing loss.
· Broken leg or arm.
· Wheelchair users.
Our experiences are not recommended for anyone with the following impairment/medical conditions:
· Heart condition.
· Heavily pregnant.
· Epilepsy and similar seizure disorders.
Like other products that produce visual effects (including light flashes), the product may trigger epileptic seizures, seizures, fainting, or severe dizziness even in people who have no history of these conditions.
If you have a previous history of epilepsy or seizures, loss of awareness, or other symptoms linked to an epileptic condition, consult your doctor before using the product. To reduce the likelihood of a seizure do not use the product if you are tired or need sleep. Please consult with a doctor before booking your experience. Upon production of a clearance certificate from your doctor, we will be able to let you play.
